A break-in occurred sometime between  6 p.m. Christmas Eve. Dec. 24, 2013, when the Metro grocery store at 3663 Tecumseh Rd. E. in Windsor, Ont., closed and 4 p.m. Christmas Day when a staff member discovered the break-in. The thieves went through the roof, disabled the phone and surveillance camera lines and made off with $4,000 from the safe. (MONICA WOLFSON/ The Windsor Star)
