Snow began falling in earnest in Windsor and Essex County Thursday afternoon, creating slippery conditions for the commute home.
Environment Canada was calling for as much as four centimetres of snow today with a 30 km/h wind gusting to 50 km/h.
More snow is forecast for Friday, Saturday and Sunday though not the same sort of dumping that blasted the area to kick off 2014.
Saturday’s high is forecast at -7 C and Sunday’s high is forecast at -3 C.
