 A group of students who raised more than $10,000 for children in Ghana handed over a cheque to the Rotary Club Mon. Feb. 3, 2014. The money was raised by French Catholic students in the Conseil Scolaire Catholique Providence through a board-wide Ghana Day. The project was spearheaded by E.J. Lajeunesse Catholic high school Grade 12 student Christine St-Pierre and local Rotarian Kim Spirou. St.Pierre, (L), made the presentation at the school board meeting.
