Taking the message seriously, Hon. Vincent Massey Secondary School students Avneet Dhami, left, Suhani Darji and Angela Cheam, right, particpate in  30 Hour Famine event Thursday May 30, 2013.  Cheam and Darji are both abstaining from eating for 30 hours.  World Vision's annual youth fundraiser 30 Hour Famine began at 2:00 pm.  The purpose of this fundraiser is for students to experience the life of an impoverished child by giving up something they feel is crucial for survival such as solid food or all technology for 30 hours.
