The Windsor FINA 2016 World Swimming Championship (FINA WSC16) announced the competition to name the new mascot on June 1, 2015. Entries for the contest will only be accepted online at http://www.finawindsor2016.com/mascotname . The contest will be open to children between the ages of 4 to 17. Entrants must reside and go to school in the City of Windsor and Essex County. The grand prize winner will receive an Apple iPad-mini, and four passes to the FINA 2014 World Swimming Championship opening ceremonies. If the participation rate for mammograms to detect breast cancer could be raised to 75 per cent, the impact on the survival would be significant, according to Dr. Winston Ramsewak, the regional breast imaging lead for the Erie St. Clair Regional Cancer Program. “If you want to treat any cancer, you’ve got to treat it as early as you can,” he said.
