FEB. 3, 2009 -- Windsor mayor Eddie Francis went directly to jail Wednesday in promoting the Monopoly Canada competition. 2010 marks the 75th anniversary of the popular board game. Windsor is hoping to win an online vote placing it ahead of 64 other communities across the country vying for the title. The promotion was held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help elementary school where grades seven and eight students made a giant Windsor version of the Monopoly board.
